Minneapolis Auto Repair

Recently moved back to MPLS from Chicago and looking for a mechanic. Have a 2012 Honda Fit Sport with 33K miles - Honda recently sent our recall notice for airbag inflator, so had that taken care of at a Honda dealership. Dealer recommended I change brake and tranny fluid (about $250) & a few other things. I took it to Honest 1 for their complimentary vehicle inspection for a second opinion, and to get an idea of what they would charge. They (Andrew & Scott) said car was in great shape and no service recommended. When I told them what Honda suggested, they disagreed (based on what they checked) and that if was their car they wouldn't perform the work at this time. So, although I can't rate them on work performed, I give them 5 stars for being honest and not trying to sell me unnecessary work. If/when I need work done I will definitely go back to this shop!

Honest 1 has always provided excellent customer service! I always appreciate their honest and professional opinions - I don't ever feel that they are trying to cheat me with false estimates and overpriced work. I will continue to bring my car back.

I don't write reviews but I'm making an exception here. I take both of our cars here. They charge a reasonable price, are always professional, courteous, and thorough. I recently took our Range Rover here (an expensive car to fix) as I thought the brakes had been making a funny noise. They drove it to see, checked it over thoroughly, and let me know everything was mechanically sound. They gave me full check report and did not charge me anything. I will continue to come here.

The customer service, and the front desk were incredibly Honest about my vehicle. They're super nice and had my oil changed quickly with in the hour. They're highly recommended.
