what a helpful, knowledgeable trust worthy shop in our neighborhood. we went in to for oil change but they told us it was not need yet, while other shop could have let us spent money unnecessarily.

Hilariously inappropriately named: I took a used car here that I was thinking of buying for an inspection. They took 30min and charged $80 but missed some really major things like that the rear brakes where totally worn out, while missing diagnosing other non-existent issues like a supposed major oil leak just because they don't know how to read a frikin dipstick. They only offered a refund of $20. Dont trust these clowns and, if you do take your car here, pay with a card, not cash so you can at least reverse the charges when they scew your vehicle up and try to keep your money.

I have gone to Honest-1 for years while living in the city, and I love the friendly atmosphere. I always leave knowing that my car is in good hands that will tell me about any necessary changes I need to make to drive safely.

HONESTLY...Not thrilled with my experience. I had a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation for the Portland Ave. location for about $20. When I made my appointment the guy said they would honor it at this location...cool, right? So I drop my car off, the guy at the front desk is shocked that someone told me they would honor the coupon because they don't have any coupons with the same deal. I also had a new license plate that I was having a hard time removing the screws for. I asked if they could do it quick. My total ended up being almost $60. I looked at the invoice and they charged me $30 for the labor. They said it was hard to get the screws out and that's why it cost so much. They didn't call me to say it was hard or anything. I would never have agreed to have them change it if I knew it was going to cost me $30. Plus, they did a shoddy job putting my hubcaps back on because guess what? They are now missing, probably fell off while I was driving. I called to talk to them about it and they said that my hubcaps are cheap because I have a Toyota. That's their excuse. I'm done there...
